A pro wrestling fan since age 11, Joyce Paustian grew up in the Quad-Cities. Her wrestling obsession took her from watching it on television to photographing it ringside at local arenas. She has traveled the mid-west photographing wrestling and meeting wrestlers for over 40 years.
Her massive wrestling memorabilia collection was featured in the Quad-City Times in 2017, as well as
featured on a television segment by the late Fran Riley of KWQC-TV.
Now retired from the Rock Island Arsenal, Joyce continues her wrestling hobby by attending fan-fests and legends reunions. She is the official photographer for the professional wing of the Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, IA at their annual Hall of Fame Events.
Joyce is proud to share her love of old school wrestling with other fans, through the photos and stories in her new book.
